| EAA Chapter 1232's first annual Young Eagles Day was a great success. We flew about 65 kids (the number has to be finalized as a couple of kids got two rides) and a great time was had by all. BTW, the average number of kids flow by an EAA chapter at a Young Eagles day is 25! Photos of the event are located in the Photos Section of the Chapter Website. For the pilots who not only donated their time and skill but also their aircraft and paid for the gas on top of it all. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! PILOTS: 1. Tim Blofeld and his British Bulldog 2. Chris Woods and his Waco 3. Phil Smith and his RV-8 4. Dave King and his Nanchang (Yak) 5. Aaron Singer and his Citabria 6. Ray Brice and his Twin Bonanza 7. Dave Ward and his Piper Warrier Many thanks to these great pilots and generous folks from the Chapter and all the kids. Additionally, we want to thank those of you that helped out with the ground duties: 1. John Long 2. Andrew Wait 3. Jim Thomas 4. Alexis Shirkey 5. Darren Lang 6. Norm Albright 7. Ray Peterson and the CAP If we have overlooked anyone, please be assured we appreciate your help. We'll do it again in a year! And may the weather gods bless us again. | ||
